We are one of our for the role of -wan
• Plan and conduct risk based audits of enterprise network environments including LAN, WAN, SD WAN, NAC, proxy, and firewall infrastructure.
• Review how network security and availability controls are designed and how effectively they operate across data centers and branch locations.
• Assess firewall configurations, rule management practices, network segmentation, and perimeter security controls.
• Evaluate SD WAN setups, including link redundancy, traffic routing, encryption, and centralized policy enforcement.
• Review Network Access Control (NAC) mechanisms for device onboarding, authentication, and access enforcement.
• Assess proxy and secure internet access controls such as URL filtering, SSL inspection, malware protection, and logging.
• Review WAN connectivity arrangements including MPLS links, leased lines, internet connectivity, and service provider governance.
• Evaluate network monitoring, logging, alerting, and integration with SIEM and incident management processes.
• Assess network resilience and continuity measures including redundancy, failover, DR connectivity, and testing practices.
• Document clear, practical audit observations and recommendations in a manner understandable to both technical and business • Work closely with Network, Infrastructure, Information Security, and vendor teams during audit • 5–10 years of experience in IS audit, IT audit, or hands on network/security infrastructure roles with audit exposure. Preferably in Banking or BFSI sector.• Good working knowledge of both traditional networking and modern technologies such as SD WAN and NAC.
• Ability to independently manage medium to complex audit assignments end to end.
• Comfortable interacting with senior technical stakeholders and clearly articulating risks and control gaps.
• Strong documentation skills with experience maintaining audit workpapers and reports.Technical Skills & Knowledge
• Networking Basics: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
• Network Infrastructure: LAN, WAN, MPLS, leased lines, and internet connectivity.
• SD WAN: Architecture, controllers, encryption, traffic steering, and high availability concepts.
• Cloud Networking: Knowledge of VPC/VNet design, subnets, routing, gateways, and network segmentation.
• Cloud Connectivity & Security: Exposure to CDN, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, cloud firewalls, and secure ingress/egress controls.
• Firewalls & Perimeter Security: Next generation firewalls, rule reviews, IPS/IDS, NAT, and segmentation.
• Network Access Control (NAC): Device compliance checks, authentication, and role based access.
