During my more than four decades of professional journey, I always sought for something fulfilling in life and living beyond profession. "That's so me"...
Many of us must have faced such vacuum, even within our successful career journies...
We seek alternate parallel paths of fulfilment... May be 'music', 'dance' or other performing arts. I chose Dramatics...Directed and acted in various plays...
Durga Puja platforms, wherever I lived, always offered me the opportunities. , Gurgaon is such an emotional connect since the year 2000...All of us have our own stories... What about yours ?
I feel most people are wasting 80% of their energy on the wrong goals, and no one is talking about it.
Years ago, I thought success meant working 14-hour days and saying yes to everything. Here is what actually changed everything for me:
1. Doing fewer things, better: Saying 'no' opened up 10x more opportunities.
2. Protecting morning focus: No phone or social media before 9 AM.
3. Consistency over intensity: Small daily efforts beat weekly burnouts every time.
These are particularly relevant for the current generation...
Which habit was hardest for you to build: #1, #2, or #3 ? Let's discuss in the comments...
Here's an image of one of my several performances...
