We made teaching about the syllabus.

And skilling about employability.

But a student doesn't experience them as two separate things.

What they learn should shape what they can do.

And it is the teacher who holds the power to shape that journey.

Teachers shouldn't have to choose between teaching a subject and preparing a student for the world.

Anything we teach should prepare them for the world.
