A few days in Bhuj. A world of craft.

We went to Bhuj looking for Ajrakh, Bandhani and the stories behind them.
What we found was so much more.

Hands that have learnt a craft over generations.
Blocks worn smooth with years of use.
Colours built layer upon layer.
Tiny Bandhani knots, made patiently by hand.
And an incredible connection between the craft, the land and the people who keep it alive.

For Spring Soul, this journey was a reminder that heritage is not something sitting in the past.
It is living, evolving and waiting to be discovered again.
And we came back with a lot to think about.

Bhuj, you left us inspired.

Niti was among the first to introduce Spring Soul to Dubai through AFRA, helping our story of Indian craft reach a new audience.

And we love seeing her make our signature Bandhani shirt completely her own…..effortless, contemporary and full of character.

Some people seem to effortlessly inhabit every version of themselves. Parul is one of those people.

One of my closest friends, she is equally at home in gymwear, pushing her limits at Hyrox, as she is in a heritage Banarasi saree. An entrepreneur, fitness enthusiast and a woman with a strong spiritual sense of purpose, she brings strength and softness together in a way that is completely her own.

Gentle, warm, radiant and always smiling, there is a quiet confidence about her that makes her incredibly special.

For KAAFILA, we chose a black drape skirt paired with our signature Bandhani shirt, cinched with a zero-waste fabric waist belt and finished with bold, statement Silva Sutra earrings. A contemporary interpretation of Indian craft….strong, effortless and full of character.
It felt just right for someone who moves so effortlessly between strength and grace, the modern and the rooted.
