How will content help you in Lead generation?
Before starting my journey as a Sales growth specialist, as an Edupreneur, I was based out of Kenya.
I came back to India and chose that I want to help businesses scale up their businesses. Its a long story why
I chose the following:
1. Right Target Market
2. Right segment
3. Right Audience (Business owners and buyers of initiatives who are interested in growth)
4. Built a Database
5. Chose a Platform/Platforms
6. Started Marketing activities (Webinar, WhatsApp Marketing, LinkedIn Articles)
When you do Marketing activities you need content. Content for website, Content for Articles, Content for Creatives and Carousels, Content for Sales Pitches, Content for Value proposition etc.
When people engage with your content, they choose you and most of the time sale has already happened.
Since I am selling education services for my target segment, they start following the content. When they follow content they start getting interested in your services too. It also helps you build a top-of-mind recall. Not everyone whom you are targeting is waiting for you to come and sell. You and team will face rejections.
In my experience if the content is serving the target buyer it makes the selling easier.
Search for people who have a large follower base on any social media channel and you will find that a lot of content has been generated by them or their team to get their target clients following them and eventually buying from them when they are ready to buy. It also triggers them to refer you when someone whom they know needs it.
"Marketing is serving" and one of the potent ways to serve is by providing quality content.
