Roles & Responsibilities
3 years of Salesforce Release Management experience or Salesforce DevOps experience
Knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, SOQL and Web Services
Manage Sales/Service/Marketing/CPQ/Financial Force PSA, Billing Central and RevRec applications and Force projects on the SFDC platform
Practical working experience of applying agile development approaches, methods, including release and sprint planning and ex*****on
Set up, monitor, and maintain all Salesforce.com sandboxes, including creating and synchronizing sandbox metadata and appropriate data sets
Responsible for maintaining consistency between Salesforce sandbox environments, from Development through QA, UAT and Production
Manage proper tracking of released components in version control
Communicate release schedule and changes to stakeholders
Create Release notes and deployment run books
Work with developers to properly resolve merge conflicts, deployment errors and meet code coverage criteria
Coordinate activities across development teams to ensure quality and timely releases
Design and track relevant metrics for releases
Assist Product team in release note management
Own and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process or automation
Experience in the CRM domain; understanding of overall SFDC architecture and working knowledge of SFDC integration approach, architecture, and release management
Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
Essential Requirements
3-10 years of experience on Salesforce platform
Lightning experience
Salesforce certifications preferred (Developer Certification, Advance Developer Certification)
Proven experience with release management tools like Bitbucket, Copado, Gearset or GIT, Jenkins, etc..
Desired Requirements
Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are geographically dispersed
