"Most executive retreats speed you up. This one forced us to slow down and pause."

Our CXO as Coach™ residential retreat in Dehradun was an experience of stepping back, slowing down and looking at leadership through a different lens.

The conversations, reflections and insights have stayed with us and it is especially meaningful to hear what the experience meant to the participants themselves.

"Some journeys don’t end when the programme does. They begin to take shape afterwards"

A month after our three-day CXO as Coach retreat in Dehradun, we came together again for our Integration Day - to pause, reflect and share what had been unfolding since we left the retreat.

The conversations were honest, meaningful and deeply reflective.

We paused to ask ourselves:

How far have I come?

What is still stopping me?

What has genuinely shifted in this one month?

And what change am I willing to make to cross my own threshold?

The reflections were, in many ways, beautifully human.

“I am a little more courageous.”

“I am more empathetic.”

“I am more patient.”

“I am more relaxed.”

“I am OK. I am human.”

Perhaps one of the most powerful shifts was simply acceptance of self - recognising that leadership, like coaching, begins with being willing to meet ourselves where we are.

We heard stories of experiments, new insights, shifts in perspective, and moments where coaching was being brought into everyday leadership conversations.

And when we were asked to capture the experience of coming together again in just one word, the responses were: nostalgic, refreshing, energising, recharging, comforting - and even out of the bag. 😊

A heartfelt thank you to every participant for showing up with openness, curiosity and vulnerability, and for making this journey so much richer through your experiences and reflections.

And to , thank you for holding the space with such presence, warmth and depth, and for creating an experience that continues to stay with us beyond those three days.

The retreat may have been three days.

The real journey is what happens next.

Here’s to leading with greater awareness, asking better questions, and creating the space for others to grow.

“The more we understand what is happening within us, the more choice we create in how we respond.”

We recently concluded Module 2 of TPC Leadership’s ICF & EMCC accredited Coach Training Program on ‘𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞’.

This module took the participants on a deeper inward journey exploring emotions, behavioural patterns, beliefs, and the inner narratives that influence how we show up in our conversations and relationships.

Through experiential learning and coaching practice, participants explored powerful models such as the Wheel of Emotions, Karpman Drama Triangle, Circle of Control, Inner Game of Performance, Transactional Analysis, and Ego States.

But the real learning wasn’t in simply understanding these models.

It was in turning the lens inward.

Because as coaches, our ability to support someone else’s awareness begins with our willingness to examine our own patterns, triggers, assumptions, and responses.

From awareness… to choice… to transformation.
