HEROES FOR HEARTS CONDUCTS CPR TRAINING AT PKC ADVISORY
In association with Heroes for Hearts, a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington D.C., PKC Advisory conducted a Red Cross accredited CPR training for its staff and a number of other organizations in Delhi NCR region of India. The objective of the training was to help in administering CPR to someone in need within the vital first three minutes of a heart attack or cardiac arrest.

A Fun-filled Day for PKCites

PKC Advisory organized an offsite at The Gateway Resort, Damdama Lake on 13th October 2017. The day was packed with the entire gamut of physical and mentally stimulating team building activities. While some of the employees engaged in activities like rappling, wall climbing, paintball, others indulged in sports like cricket, badminton, lawn tennis and even tried their hand at archery. There was also a tightly contested football match between PKC Blue and PKC Red where high levels of adrenalin could be felt on the field and amongst the spectators. Post-lunch sessions were focused on team-building activities like ‘Stretch the limit’ and ‘Pass the message’. All-in-all, it was a welcome break and an opportunity to bond with coworkers outside the office.

DAY OUT WITH KIDS FROM RADIANT KIDS MULTI ACTIVITY CENTRE
27th July 2017 marked another successful and gratifying CSR event at PKC Advisory. A play date full of fun and entertainment was organized by the CSR team for 40 underprivileged children, aged between 4 to 10 years from the Radiant Kids Multi Activity Centre, an informal school based in Gurugram and managed by Eco Lib Foundation. The kids were taken to Fun World Sports, a high end entertainment zone with arcade games and other fun activities.

Key attractions for the kids were cricket and football alley, virtual rides, musical rides and getting their hands painted with tattoos. The children were served snacks and lunch. The event ended with a mesmerizing magic show and gifts for all the children. Being able to bring cheer and happiness in the lives of these children was immensely satisfying.

PKC ADVISORY HOSTS ITS ANNUAL DINNER 2017

PKC Advisory hosted its Annual Dinner to celebrate the success and achievements of 2016. The energy and exuberance witnessed at this year’s event was extraordinary.

The evening started with a witty quiz on how well we know our colleagues followed by a thumping dance performance by a few of our colleagues. This was followed by an open house session where our esteemed board members and CEO provided insights and addressed queries. The evening’s fun quotient increased with a stand-up comedy act that had everyone in splits.

The ‘Employee of the Year’ and ‘Rising Star of the Year’ awards were the highlights of the evening, and the winners received a well-deserved cheer and thunderous applause. What followed, was an energetic participation on the dance floor and a sumptuous dinner. All-in-all, the evening was a splendid event that left us with everlasting memories.

PKC ADVISORY ORGANIZES EYE DONATION PLEDGE CAMPAIGN ON WORLD VISION DAY
As part of its CSR activities, PKC Advisory participated in the ‘Eye Donation Pledge Campaign’. The event was held on the occasion of World Vision Day in collaboration with the Center for Sight, India’s leading specialty eye care provider. About 1.1 million people in India live their lives in darkness due to a dearth of available corneas for donation. The Eye Donation Pledge Campaign aimed at creating awareness about corneal donation and to secure eye donation pledges. To gain maximum traction, the campaign was publicized among PKC Advisory employees and other companies in the office campus. On day of the campaign, 65 people gave their pledge, with a maximum potential to give sight to 260 people. In addition, complimentary eye-checkups were conducted for around 80 people. A colorful wristband which read ‘My Eyes Won’t Die’ was also provided as a token to the pledgers for their invaluable contribution.
