Location Gurgaon
Permanent UK Shift 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm
Good writing and speaking skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
Highlight instances of non-moving inventory and prepare disposition plans.
Take input from purchasing team/ buyers of delays in orders and make appropriate remedy in the supply plan.
Streamline the system and procedures to achieve effective inventory controls.
Responsible for overseeing the creation of POs in SAP for import purchases to ensure shipment strategy is followed.
Responsible for managing stock transfer orders between plants and ensure it is kept under the planned annual budget.
Responsible for managing and mentoring the purchasing team to make sure the objectives and goals are achieved of the purchasing function
Prepare standard operating procedures and identify areas of improvement to improve efficiency
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of material
Identify the gap between the concern process and escalated it to the concern managers.
Responsible for evaluating demand forecast provided by Demand Forecasting Team and incorporate deviations while carrying out inventory planning.
Perform material requirement planning to maintain days of stock for packaging, finished goods and raw material in line with the business requirement.
Identify over and under inventory instances and take appropriate acts to maintain optimum levels of inventory.
Experience & Desired Skill-Set
Minimum work experience of 3+ years in the supply planning function.
Experience in a consumer product goods company is add on advantage.
Experience in demand forecasting, distribution planning, supply planning and inventory management
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Masters degree in Business Administration is advantageous
Hands-on experience of working on material requirement planning tools.
Hands-on experience of working in SAP or any ERP of similar nature
Knowledge in demand forecasting tool is advantageous
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Regular Bachelors degree.
Regular Masters degree in Business Administration is advantageous.
