The job duties of a human resources coordinator will vary from company to company. Typically, coordinators touch all aspects of the human resources function within an organization, including:
Facilitating all HR processes
Acting as a liaison between employees and benefits providers such as 401K plan, insurance, etc.
Resolving problems with benefits, employee engagement, hiring, retention, fairness and more
Assisting with new hire training, onboarding and benefits administration
Coordinating performance review process including termination, disciplinary action and merit increases
Assisting with hiring and training processes
The job of an HR coordinator also involves quite a bit of research. In larger organizations, they may be responsible for surveying employees and managers to determine which work processes need improvement, or how they can produce productivity by looking at data, time sheets, work production reports and more.
