Greetings from Indus Insights!

We are super excited to finally announce the winners of the first Analytical Case Study Competition by Indus, Indus Quest 2021!

Indus Quest 2021 provided a platform for teams to present different analytical techniques to solve a real-life analytical challenge. Over 150 teams went through a rigorous process involving a quiz, solving a data-heavy problem statement and presenting to the jury of Indus Insights. We are glad to announce the winners of Indus Quest 2021.

The grand prize of Rs. 2 Lakhs goes to team Party Animals (Atul Nambiar and Nayantara Pradhan) from IIM Bangalore. For runner-up, we have Team Beta Bots (Aviral Kacholia and Sumanth N) from IIM Bangalore and Team Vatsal Beria (Vatsal Beria and Sachin Umriwad) of IIM Calcutta as the second runner-up.

Congratulations to all the winners for showcasing an exemplary performance and thanks to all the teams who made this competition the grand success that it was.

Diwali Vibes at Indus Insights

At Indus, we have a vibrant company culture that celebrates all the festivals and traditions from around the world. With the warmth of diyas, the sweetness of mithai and the sound of laughter, we enjoyed this beautiful festival of lights the Indus-style.

Our Insighters came together in the office to celebrate Diwali! Amidst endless chit chat and discussions around everyone's Diwali plans, there was lip-smacking lunch and a fun activity, followed by an invigorating Yoga session to burn off those calories! The yoga session was led by Garima Kapila, Head of Swasth Yog Institute and equipped us with very useful exercises to maintain a healthier mind and body. The evening began with announcement of promotions followed by a much-desired Happy Hour to unwind - can there be a better way to kick-start the festival celebrations?

Every day is a great day to appreciate women, for each one is special and unique in her own way, but International Women’s Day (IWD) gives an extra reason to do just that! For IWD ’21, Indus organized a panel discussion with some remarkable women tech entrepreneurs. We were delighted to have the company of Anuradha Agarwal (Founder, Multibhashi), Namita Gupta (Founder, Airveda) and Kanti Prabha (Co-founder & COO, SirionLabs) as panelists, while the discussion was moderated by our very own Neha M Sharma (Co-founder & COO, Indus Insights). The topic of the panel was “Building Mentors and Allies” and the panelists shared their thoughts about how mentors & allies can help in our professional growth. They talked about the mentors that each of them had, what makes for a good mentor (hint: empathy, relatability), and how to go about getting one (hint: don’t hesitate – it is ok to ask for help!). We wrapped up by talking about how men can be allies of women and how organizations can be supportive of working women.

Overall, the session had some very interesting takeaways. We’d like to thank our trailblazing panelists for inspiring all Insighters onto the path of inclusive growth!
