I will never touch a guest unless it is to break up a fight and if this is required, I will ensure that no guest is physically harmed or “beat up”. Party crashersand people on your banned list will be denied access and/or es**rted off property when instructed. I will kindly ask them to leave or call security for trespassing if required. Please do not rely on low paid (in house) event staff that may be rude to your guests or get an inflated ego and might lose their temper with, harm or injure a guest. Typically, untrained event staff will not know how to verbally diffuse a situation or keep your guests unharmed while diffusing a situation. Also, they are an employee of the venue or outside company and not loyal to you and your guests. Since I am hired by you, I will answer to you and not the event venue or outside company. With this in mind, I will still be very polite and accommodating to the venue or company to ensure a cohesiveness of elite service to you and your guests. In order to deter and/or eliminate “scenes” at your event, I have developed a simple and effective 2 step process:
Step 1. Make eye contact with the potential offender (this usually ends the disruptive social behavior or thoughts of disruptive behavior). Politely let the guest know their conduct is making others uncomfortable.
