🌏 Important Announcement for Students and Graduates!

📢 The Australian Government is implementing changes to English language requirements for Student and Temporary Graduate visas, effective March 23, 2024.

📚 **For Student Visas:**
- Minimum English proficiency increases to IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
- ELICOS course requirement rises to IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent).
- Recognized university foundation/pathway programs require IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent).

🎓 For Temporary Graduate Visas (TGV):
- Minimum score increases to IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent).
- Validity window for English tests decreases to one year.

🇭🇰🇬🇧 Exemptions:
- Passport holders from Hong Kong and British National Overseas (BNO) have different requirements.

Covaxin (Bharat Biotech) and BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm) vaccines are now 'recognised' by the Therapeutic Goods Administration for the purpose of establishing a traveller's vaccination status.

For the purposes of travelling to Australia, individuals who have received two doses of the above vaccines, at least 14 days apart will now be considered fully vaccinated 7 days after their second dose.
