“She turned challenges into stepping stones and dreams into direction.”
Jayanti Ramchiary’s story is one of resilience and quiet determination. After completing her graduation, she began working with Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan, striving to support her family while facing financial hardships. Life wasn’t easy, but she carried an unshaken belief that education could change her path.
Balancing work and personal struggles, she went on to complete her master’s degree, proving that persistence always pays off. When she first applied for a position at SESTA Development Services (SDS) and didn’t get selected, she didn’t let disappointment stop her instead, it became her motivation to keep growing.
Soon after, she was selected as the CEO of Swrang Women Producers Coorporative Society Limited , an all-women Farmer Producer Company. With her leadership and vision, the FPC began to thrive, achieving a turnover of ₹9–10 lakhs and bringing together 362 women farmers engaged in mustard seeds, rice, buckwheat, maize, potato, and dragon fruit.
“It’s not just a company anymore , it’s a movement of women who believe in themselves.”
Today, Jayanti manages the operations, finances, and development plans of the FPC with confidence and clarity. She leads with empathy, guiding women farmers toward self-reliance and financial independence. Her office is not just a workplace it’s a space where women find strength, purpose, and solidarity.
“When I see women speak up, make decisions, and earn with pride, I feel I’ve succeeded,” she says.
Jayanti’s journey reminds us that true success begins with self-belief. From struggling to make ends meet to leading a flourishing all-women enterprise, she has become the voice of empowerment showing that when women rise, communities rise with them.
