The recent shift of brides towards pastel lehengas !!!

For generations in India, brides traditionally wore red. It wasn’t just about aesthetics or tradition, there was also a deeper scientific and energetic reasoning behind it.

Red is known to have the highest refractive and vibrational quality among colours in the visible spectrum. In our ancient understanding of energy and aura, red is believed to absorb and radiate strong positive energy while helping neutralise negative energies around us. This is one of the reasons why red became the most auspicious colour for such an important life ritual like marriage.

On the other hand, black is considered to absorb heavier energies and therefore was always avoided during sacred ceremonies.

Another interesting observation is that traditionally bridal attire in India never had long sweeping trails. A trailing garment constantly drags along the ground and symbolically collects energies from the surroundings. According to energy-based sciences, this can disturb the personal aura of the bride, which is why our traditional bridal wear was designed to avoid such elements.

It is therefore fascinating to see how some modern brides are rediscovering the timeless wisdom of tradition. Celebrities like Rashmika Mandanna and Priyanka Chopra embracing red in bridal-inspired looks reminds us why this colour has remained so powerful and relevant across centuries.

Sometimes what appears to be “tradition” actually has deep science, symbolism and energetic wisdom behind it.

And perhaps that is why, no matter how many trends come and go, red will always remain the most powerful colour for a bride. ❤️

Choose to keep your Rooms in Northern & Eastern zones. Because nowhere in our Scriptures is there prescribed Southwest to be the Master bedroom for any given reason. South & West are dwelling places of negative energies whereas North & East are dwelling places for Positive & divine energies. 😇
