Sustaining Quality Through Continuous Supportive Supervision
Quality improvement is not a one-time exercise—it is a continuous process of assessment, learning, improvement, and monitoring. Regular supportive supervision is essential to sustain the quality practices established through training and assessments, identify gaps at an early stage, strengthen staff capacity, and ensure that quality standards are consistently translated into practice.
Through the ASSIST Project, continuous mentoring and supportive supervision aim to support facilities in moving beyond checklist-based compliance towards sustained, measurable, and patient-centred quality improvement.
Appreciation to the Quality Coordinators and healthcare teams at all three facilities for their active participation and continued commitment towards strengthening the quality of healthcare services.
