An overwhelming workshop on “CHETTINAD CUISINE” was organized by gourmet club of “AIHM” on 18th April, 2015. It is the cuisine of the chettinad region of Tamilnadu, state in south India. It is one of the spiciest and most aromatic in India, cuisine is famous for its use of a variety of spices used in preparing, non vegetarian food like chicken chettinad. The dishes are hot and pungent the fresh ground masalas. Most of the dishes are eaten with rice. The students of gourmet club have participated in this work shop; it was successfully done by the students. It was traditionally followed by the club. There were total 11 dishes served along with an accompaniment and students were properly dressed in south Indian attire. Gourmet club got more than expected guest, faculties and students strives hard to make this event successful.
