TVS Jupiter TVS Motor Company I strongly disagree with the contents of your reply, as the response provided by TVS Motor Company is factually incorrect and does not reflect the actual events, observations, and discussions that took place during the inspections of my vehicle, TVS Jupiter, Registration No. HR20BD1401.
Your statement that the vehicle was found to be “functioning satisfactorily” and that “no abnormality was observed” is completely contrary to the facts.
During each inspection, the abnormal condition and the issues being faced by the vehicle were specifically brought to the notice of your concerned team members. The same issue was also brought to the attention of your Zonal Team, including Mr. Avnish Ji, Head of the concerned team/company function. The abnormal condition of the vehicle was acknowledged and admitted during the discussions and inspection.
Further, during the ride in which the concerned Zonal Team member travelled with me and was dropped at the bus stand at Hisar, he himself noticed the abnormal behaviour/condition of the vehicle and acknowledged the same. Therefore, it is highly concerning that the present response now claims that no abnormality was observed.
This raises a serious question as to why the actual observations and admissions made during the inspection and road testing have not been reflected in your official response.
I would also like to point out that the problem has not been resolved even after replacement of several major components of the vehicle, including the meter, battery, belt, major wiring and other parts. The fact that repeated replacement of major parts has still not resolved the concern strongly indicates that the vehicle may have a manufacturing defect or an underlying technical issue that has not been properly diagnosed and rectified.
More importantly, the issue is still continuing. The vehicle is not performing as it should, and the customer is continuing to face problems with various parts/functionalities. Despite repeatedly bringing these matters to the notice of TVS Motor Company, my calls and emails are not being addressed appropriately.
Your response therefore appears to be an attempt to close the complaint without actually resolving the underlying defect. Merely stating that the vehicle was satisfactory at the time of inspection cannot be considered a resolution when the customer has repeatedly demonstrated and reported the abnormality, and when the same issue has persisted despite replacement of major components.
I request TVS Motor Company to:
Re-open the complaint and conduct a proper technical investigation into the recurring issue.
Provide me with the complete inspection/technical report prepared during the visits on 02-Aug-2026 and 18-Aug-2026.
Clarify why the observations and acknowledgements made by the concerned Zonal Team members, including during the road test/ride, have not been reflected in your present response.
Provide a proper diagnosis of the underlying defect instead of repeatedly replacing individual components without resolving the root cause.
Take appropriate corrective action under the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
Provide a written response addressing each of the above points rather than issuing a general statement that the vehicle is functioning satisfactorily.
Please understand that this matter cannot be treated as a routine customer-service complaint when the vehicle has continued to exhibit problems despite replacement of major components and repeated inspections.
I have cooperated with TVS Motor Company throughout this process and have provided your teams every reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify the vehicle. However, continued denial of the actual condition of the vehicle, coupled with failure to properly address my calls and emails, is unacceptable.
If TVS Motor Company is unwilling to properly investigate and resolve this matter, I will be constrained to approach the appropriate Consumer Commission/Consumer Court and other competent authorities for redressal, including claims relating to manufacturing/technical defects, deficiency in service, and the inconvenience and losses suffered by me.
I reserve all my rights in this regard.
I expect TVS Motor Company to take this matter seriously and provide a factual, transparent and technically justified response along with a concrete resolution
