Deshpande Startups is launched by Deshpande Foundation in 2009.

Deshpande Startups looks to support mission-driven entrepreneurs and provide strategic mentorship, access to finance and marketing connections for scaling their startups in a shorter time. Deshpande Startups is started with the mission of fostering entrepreneurship in tier-II and tier-III cities across India. Till date, through its Entrepreneurs In Residence(EIR) program it has supported over 29 e

ntrepreneurs. Currently, it runs the incubation program in incubation centres located in Hubli, Karnataka and Belagavi. Apart from fully equipped plug-and-play individual and co-working space, start-ups get other perks like web credits, IT hardware and software support, training programs etc. Deshpande Startups is part of Deshpande Foundation and incubated start-ups get privileged access to Deshpande Foundations programs, events and conferences. Since its inception, Deshpande Foundation has created an ecosystem- Sandbox – which comprises of mentors, investors, policymakers, academia, NGOs and successful entrepreneurs.
