🚨 **Attention Business Entities!** 🚨

RBI has introduced an important update that could impact your high-value transactions! Effective January 5th, 2021, if your payment transactions are ₹50 crores or above, **you must include a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)**.

💡 **What’s LEI?**
A **Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)** is a unique 20-digit code used to globally identify parties in financial transactions. It’s designed to enhance the accuracy of financial data reporting and improve risk management.

🔍 **Do You Need an LEI?**
- If you’re making or receiving payments of ₹50 crores or more through RTGS/NEFT, you **must** have an LEI.
- Corporate borrowers with a total credit exposure of ₹5 crores and above are also required to register for an LEI.

🛠️ **How to Get Your LEI:**
1. **Apply for an LEI** through Legal Entity Identifier India Ltd. (LEIL), which is recognized by the RBI.
2. **Update your RTGS/NEFT transactions** to include your LEI to stay compliant.

❗ **Take Action Now:** Ensure you’re ready to meet these new requirements. Not having an LEI could disrupt your transactions and borrowing activities!

**Stay ahead, stay compliant, and keep your business running smoothly!** ✅
