Metaverse is coming! There’s no denying or escaping it. Embrace it!
Humans are naturally inclined to imagine situations & worlds that may seem hard or impossible. However, reality sets in and blows away our dream world for most of us. But Metaverse promises an opportunity to everyone to build & experience their dream world and keep getting better at it. This is the biggest draw for Metaverse.
Combine this desire of humans with economic sustainability with good models, and there’s one massive industry that can change the world how we know it.

Many things will change in this decade with the advent of the Metaverse, and some interesting ones could be:
- First-generation of Metaverse, as we are seeing, will be experienced through the VR headsets. Soon, technology will advance enough to read the brain signals to control what we do in the Metaverse and directly provide feedback to the brain, bypassing the senses.
- Identity & location anonymity/security of people will become critical as people express themselves openly in the Metaverse. Also, as assets get built in the Metaverse, there will be an exponential demand for security to protect the assets.
- The birth rate will trend downwards.
- Energy consumption will increase. However, the variety of resource consumption will decrease.

During my childhood, I used walking and my main means of transport. During my undergrad in the USA, I spent more time walking to classes and back.

After I returned to India, my walking practice/habit came to a grinding halt primarily because of the poor walking infrastructure and higher levels of exposure to air pollution.

As years passed, my desire to walk has been reignited, but the poor walking infrastructure in Hyderabad (and most Indian cities) has been a significant challenge.

I now spend 5% of my time improving the walking infrastructure in India and it is a cause I truly believe could lead to the betterment of the society.

While doing all of this, entrepreneurs more often than not come across practical pessimism – but entrepreneurs are not the kind who get bogged down by others' views of what's possible and what's not. This tribe is wired to see beyond the walls and break those walls for the rest of the world.
