What's the most common parental technique that messes up with children's development ?
Criticism ! Overdone criticism will make the children lose their capacity to think .
If children are encouraged objectively, the analytical thinking improves. Criticism is good when it is made sure that children are in a state of optimism and enthusiasm after the learning experience.
Parental expectations commonly ,are to adult level. Parents will be surprised to observe that their children at a specific age ,actually or factually, show more learning ability than the parental generation. Hence insisting upon the dislikes to be done, insisting upon perfection, expecting the children never to do mistakes are wrong parenting.
The most important aspect while parenting is to observe what the children are attempting to do, praise the efforts and then show/ guide, the right ways,if necessary.
Make sure that as parents , the children must not be scared about anything with you. Courage and optimism are the strongest attributes children must be brought up with.
