The moon has always been our oldest calendar.

Long before dates were written on paper, people looked upward to decide when to celebrate, plant, travel, fast, reflect, and begin anew. The changing face of the moon quietly shaped everyday life.

This kinetic installation reinterprets that forgotten relationship.

Fifteen illuminated forms recreate the waxing and waning lunar cycle through movement, overlap, and light. Installed within the central courtyard, it transforms an ordinary passage into a living calendar—one that doesn’t announce the date, but gently reminds us of the rhythm of time.

It is less about nostalgia and more about reconnecting with a way of observing the world.

Because perhaps the most meaningful calendar was never the one hanging on the wall.

It was the one hanging in the sky.
