International Press

As members of the International Press you will be a part and parcel of the other committees being moderated at Confluence MUN 2022
International Press allows its reporters and photographers to act as unbiased journalists, reporting on the proceedings of each sessions during the 3 days of the Conference.
You will report, investigate, edit, interview and debate on the various statements deliberated in the conference.
One can apply as a photographer or a reporter for Confluence MUN 2022

Lok Sabha

The Lok Sabha is the lower house of India's bicameral Parliament. It is known as "The House of the People". It is a first-past-the-post system to represent their respective constituencies. The representatives hold their seats for five years or until the body is dissolved by the President on the advice of the council of ministers. .
Come join us at Confluence MUN'22 to experience INDIA.
Delegates represent a constituency. They argue and put forward the changes and opinions to express their respective constituency. They speak the voices of the common people. This gives delegates an essence of Indian politics and decision making processes.

Introducing to you the third of the five committees Confluence MUN 2022 will be hosting

Commission on the Status of Women . From domestic workers to factory workers, women are fighting for fair wages , equal job opportunities, freedom from sexual harassment and other forms of gender-based violence. The formation of this committe in 1946 has made women use the UN as a key advocacy space to advance global policy on women rights.
The Commission adopts multi-year programmes of work to appraise progress and make further recommendations to accelerate the implementation of the Platform for Action. UN Women supports all aspects of the Commission’s work. CSW facilitate the participation of civil society representatives.

Introducing to you the second of the five committees in Confluence MUN 2022

The World Health Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations that is concerned with international public health. It was established on 7 April 1948, and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The WHO is a member of the United Nations Development Group. Its predecessor, the Health Organisation, was an agency of the League of Nations.
Since its establishment, it has played a leading role in the eradication of smallpox. Its current priorities include communicable diseases, in particular HIV/AIDS, Ebola, malaria and tuberculosis; the mitigation of the effects of non-communicable diseases such as sexual and reproductive health, development, and aging; nutrition, food security and healthy eating; occupational health; substance abuse; and driving the development of reporting, publications, and networking.
The WHO is responsible for the World Health Report, the worldwide World Health Survey, and World Health Day.

A 13 days long battle between India and Pakistan ended on December 16 in 1971, and the Indian soldiers came victorious. Indians remember and pay homage to all the martyred soldiers defending the nation. MUN 2022 pays its tribute to all the brave souls.
