Congratulations!
Kiran Pahal, Poovamma Machettira, Prachi Choudhary and Vithya Ramraj made the country proud by winning the women’s 4x400m relay at the Asian Games 2026.
The Indian athletes clocked 3:29.69 at the Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium to beat Bahrain.
It was India’s sixth Asian Games women’s 4x400m relay title and first since Jakarta 2018. The Indian women had won the event at five consecutive editions from Busan 2002 to Jakarta 2018.

A 60% revenue growth in FY26, positive EBITDA and a net profit – all indicate the transformation that is happening at the steel unit.
In FY26, NMDC Steel has demonstrated its potential to turn operational progress into sustainable performance. The company remains committed to building on this momentum and creating long-term value for all its stakeholders.
The immediate priority at NMDC Steel Ltd is clear: to convert our commissioned capacity into stable, predictable, and increasingly efficient production and sales. NMDC Steel will continue to expand and optimise its HR Coil product portfolio, with greater focus on high-strength low-alloy and automotive grades, while strengthening our relationships with customers across the automotive, energy and infrastructure sectors.

A proud moment for NSL!

NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), Nagarnar, has been honoured with the 25th Environment & Sustainability Award 2026 under the Environment Protection Category at the prestigious Greentech Environment & Sustainability Summit & Awards Ceremony, held on 10 September 2026 at Indana Palace Hotel, Jodhpur (Rajasthan).

The award recognised NSL’s outstanding commitment to environmental stewardship, its sustainability roadmap, carbon footprint reduction, resource efficiency, and green innovations, which have set a benchmark for the steel industry.
