We are expanding our Industrial & Commercial Sales Division and looking for a result-driven Senior
Sales Executive with strong industrial networking and technical sales expertise.
Role Overview
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for developing business in the Industrial &
Commercial segment by building strong professional relationships with:
• Industrial Architects
• MEP Consultants
• Turnkey Contractors
• Project Consultants
• Factory Owners
• Industrial Developers
The role requires strong field presence, project tracking ability, and high-value B2B selling capability.
The candidate must understand how to approach consultants at design stage and position Metalex
products during project planning itself
Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Networking
• Develop and maintain relationships with Industrial Architects, MEP Consultants, and
Turnkey Contractors
• Identify and track upcoming industrial and commercial projects
• Regular visits to industrial belts/clusters for lead generation
• Engage consultants at design and specification stage

Sales & Client Engagement
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities
• Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking & industry references
• Arrange and conduct meetings with decision-makers
• Understand technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
• Deliver structured product presentations

Quotation & Negotiation
• Make accurate and timely cost calculations
• Prepare quotations and technical submissions
• Negotiate pricing and close deals
• Handle objections and resolve complaints professionally

Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Gather competitor insights and pricing information
• Monitor upcoming industrial clusters and project announcements
• Share market feedback with management
• Maintain structured sales reporting

Brand Representation
• Represent Metalex Automation in exhibitions, conferences, and consultant meets
• Build long-term consultant & contractor network

• Prior experience in Industrial / Commercial Project Sales (Mandatory)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to expand our brand
presence in offline retail home textile and furnishing stores. The role requires strong
sales skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to travel to Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities for
business development.
Key Responsibilities:
● Market Expansion: Identify and onboard home textile & furnishing retailers to stock
our brand.
● Sales & Business Development: Pitch products, close deals, and meet sales
targets.
● Retailer & Distributor Management: Build strong relationships with retailers,
distributors, and store owners.
● Travel & Fieldwork: Frequent travel to different cities for store visits, client meetings,
and business growth.
● Brand Placement: Ensure optimal product placement and visibility in retail outlets.
● Market Research: Analyze customer preferences, competitor products, and industry
trends.
Requirements:
● 1-3 years of experience in sales, distribution, or business development,
preferably in home textiles, furnishings, or a related industry.

Roles and responsibilities:

Manpower Planning:

-Employee headcount forecasting in line with Business Growth Plan, Attrition run rate and bench strength.

-Develop financial strategies by estimating forecasting and anticipating requirements, trends and variances; aligning

monetary resources, developing action plans.

-Implementing human resource strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including Talent Acquisition, Staffing,

employment processing, compensation, Health and Welfare Benefits, Training and Development, HRIS, Succession Planning,

Employee Relations and Retention and Labour Relations.

Organization structuring :

- Managing manpower ratios and defining career paths

- Facilitate multiskilling, Job rotation and leadership development

- Performance Management and Career Planning

- Drive organizational and individual level G&O setting in line with the overall business strategy

- Lead Performance management programs and initiatives

- Manage Talent potential and criticality reviews and develop skill repositories

- Develop, implement and manage People Policies and guidelines as per the requirements

- Ensure availability of a working Grievance Redressal mechanism for employees and report on efficacy and operational

effectiveness of same

- Employee satisfaction surveys and action planning

- Facilitate employee self-service tools .Consult and collaborate with business partners, Compliance and Legal teams on

complex employee issues

- Lead employee retention initiatives - Attrition management

- Drive HR initiatives for collective fun programs, social responsibility, event celebrations etc.

HR Review and Reporting:

- Business level periodic reporting of various HR metrics including headcount, attrition analysis, compensation variances, ESS

score cards etc.

- Reporting of key HR metrics at the Org/Board level (as needed)

- Participate in HR reviews by the business

- Review, benchmark and implement best practices from the industry

HR Integration :

- Lead integration of Key HR areas with the HR set up of acquired entities as directed by Head-HR

- Manage and suggest HR initiatives at business/ corporate level seamlessly across domestic and international entities.- Accomplish

special project results by clarifying issues and priorities; Communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment;

Lead Projects and drive change management effectively.

Performance Management :

- Allocating budgets as per profitability of business functions.

- Monitor, implement and drive Performance Management System across cycles for Employee Development and Career Planning.

Learning and Development :

- Oversee, influence and lead strategic L&D initiatives across the organization.

- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationship with senior leaders

- Develop and deliver impact which proves the ROI on learning solutions against business matrix and customer experience.

- Responsible for ensuring workforce has a dedicated and functional systems platform to engage and develop talent across all

Technical skills:

- Should have excellent organizing, planning and analytical skills
