“Paid news,” or the settling of personal scores, cannot masquerade as journalism—nor does it earn the sanctity of a “sting operation.”
What unfolds instead is a carefully staged theatre, born out of the collusion between media and external influences, where narratives are engineered rather than truths unearthed. In this spectacle, little thought is given to the uncomfortable reality—that those orchestrating the exposure may themselves be quietly entangled in the very rot they claim to unveil.
For if all stand equally exposed in the same bathhouse, what purpose does this inflated display of moral superiority serve?
The so-called architects of this vendetta, who roam about proclaiming themselves as its directors, are often submerged—neck-deep—in the very mire they denounce. And yet, they persist in crafting an illusion of cleanliness, a performance of virtue that borders on audacity.
This needless crescendo of noise, laced with self-adulation, does not elevate the industry—it corrodes it. What is presented as reform is, in truth, rivalry; a restless discomfort at seeing one’s own colleagues evolve into competitors. This orchestrated uproar, dressed up as a service to the industry, is nothing more than an unsuccessful attempt at self-promotion.
And yet, amidst all this, a crucial distinction is blurred—
an investigator is not an informant.
A nuance so fine, yet so vital, that many fail to grasp it.
"पैडन्यूज" या "आपसी खुन्नस"
पत्रकारिता अथवा " स्टिंग ऑपरेशन " नहीं होता
पत्रकारिता और बाहरी संबंधों का गठजोड़ करते हुए ऐसे "कांड" रचे जाते हैं जहां ये भी नहीं सोचा जाता कि जिस अपराध या अपराधिक मनोवृत्ति को उजागर करने का प्रोपोगंडा सेट किया जा रहा है वो सब में "वो" या "वो सब " भी ढके छुपे इन्वॉल्व है या होते आए है
"हमाम में सब नंगे है" तो फिर सफेद कॉलर को ऊंचा करते हुए खुद की बड़ाई जैसी ढिठाई क्यों..?
जो बाहरी तत्व इस खुन्नस का खुद को डायरेक्टर बताता फिर रहा है वो खुद भी तो गले गले तक ये ही सब करता या करवाता फिरता है फिर अपने को साफ सुथरा कहने या कहलवाने का पाखंड क्यों..?
अनावश्यक शोर करते हुए खुद की आत्मश्लाघा का प्रयास संबंधित इंडस्ट्री को नुकसान ही देता है
अपने कर्मचारी को कंपटीटर बनते देख, खुद के बिज़नेस को नुकसान होता देख ये आपसी खुन्नस - रंजिश में रचा गया शोर है
जिसे इंडस्ट्री का लाभ बोलकर खुद को बेचने का असफल प्रयास किया गया ।
लेकिन लेकिन लेकिन
"इन्वेस्टिगेटर" मुखबिर नहीं होता ये बारीक सा डिफरेंस बहुतों को समझ नहीं आता।
