Are Pets More Human?
Conversation can be with any living being provided you attend.
Let me share my recent conversation.
I shifted to Bhopal, almost two years back. It was coming back home after three decades. A lot got changed during these 30 years, some observed some remained unnoticed .I have always been propagating togetherness, and hence the natural choice for me was to stay in our house. I mean, house where my father and brother have been staying, post my mother's death.
The house has three floors, ground occupied by my father, brother, Bhabhi and niece Priya. First floor had two tenants and second floor one. I joined one FMCG company and the above situation did not allow me to shift to our house. I took a rented apartment close to my office and the new life began. My father in the meantime communicated the tenants to vacate and then we started renovating the house. During this busy period, Priya came across a puppy, who was fighting with the cold. She felt concerned and brought the puppy home.
She turned out to be female puppy and we named her Daisy. It took almost nine months to face lift the house and eventually, we shifted to our own house. In line with suggested Vastu, we created a new small gate on the North West corner to neutralize the negative effects of the entry from the south west. Today there are two gates, smaller one that I prefer while the main entry to the house still remains the old main gate. Both these gate make a sound whenever opened and they make different sound.
I have always respected pets and I find the best company in them. Whenever I go to ground floor, the happiest is Daisy. She will welcome me the warmest and the first ten minutes, she would pull from me. I feel the most wanted by her. Time travels and expression change, like your floor, our floor, your bill and our bill etc. These are practical aspects and we humans claim that we understand them, may be?
I recently noticed that Daisy gets alerted and protects both the gates. Two different sounds, but she take both as her responsibility. She would bark and attack visitors with equal vehemence and vigor, without differentiating the small and big, the new and the old. For her the both gates are hers and any sound or smell is worth responding.
The moral of the story “Greatness is not only human , sometimes, pets are more human" You can always divide what was not divided, you can also unite what was once divided.Human behavior remains basically same and the reality in the corporate world is no different.
Jai Ho!
