t in Mehsana, a small town in North Gujarat to understand the benefits of Laser in day to day Dentistry. His son Dr. Nilesh used extensively for Dental Applications. Meantime the hunger to excel drove Dr. Naresh Thukral to Mehsana and look upon himself the advantages of Laser. After buying a CO2 Laser for himself, Dr. Naresh Thukral coaxed Dr. Nilesh, Dr. Anil & Dr. Mohan to pursue ”Masters in Lasers” conducted by SOLA International (then it was popularly known as ESOLA European Society for Oral Laser Applications) in association with Vienna University. They were entrusted to host the 1st International Conference on Dental Laser Applications in India; which was successfully conducted in a short span of 8 months at Mumbai. More than 200 Life Members joined by then which was noteworthy. The efforts of these gentlemen lead to formation of SOLA in 2006. Shortly realizing the potential for Laser research in India SOLA International has started conducting its Laser courses Leading to Diploma in India
