SIBA and University of Jammu Bring Free, Compassionate Healthcare Directly to the Campus Community
JAMMU, INDIA — October 13, 2026 — Believing firmly that healthcare is a fundamental right and never a privilege, SIBA Event Management and Innovations Cooperative Ltd., in association with the University of Jammu, Society for schedule and backward, successfully organized a comprehensive Free Multi-Speciality Health Check-Up Camp today. Under "Ek Pahal" (एक पहल) initiative —Team SIBA transformed the University Health Centre premises into a vibrant Multispeciality hub of care, healing, and community well-being.
The camp was designed to bridge the gap between expert medical guidance and those who need it most, ensuring that university students, teaching staff, non-teaching employees, and campus workers had direct access to top-tier healthcare professionals without financial barriers.

The camp offered a wide spectrum of multi-speciality diagnostic and consultation services, ensuring holistic wellness for every attendee. Services provided free of cost included:Specialised Care provided in the camp are Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology (Eye Check-ups), Dental Care, Gynaecology, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), Urology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Physiotherapy, and authentic Ayurvedic consultations.Vital Screenings: Routine Blood Pressure (BP) and Blood Sugar testing, Distribution of free essential medicines, eye drops, and personalized medical advice.
Throughout the day, the health centre witnessed an overwhelming turnout. A large number of university students, academic faculty, and administrative staff availed themselves of the consultations. For many working tirelessly behind the scenes—such as the non-teaching and support staff—this initiative provided a rare and reassuring opportunity to prioritize their personal health and receive expert reassurance for lingering medical concerns.
The event was graciously acknowledged by University leadership. The Dean of the University of Jammu, alongside Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Health Centre, Sh. Bharat Bhushan, visited the premises and warmly appreciated the entire SIBA team and their medical partners. They commended the organizers for their meticulous planning and profound commitment to fostering a healthy, thriving campus environment.
