Cybersecurity education is not just about technology—it is about building a safer and more resilient digital future. 🔐

C3iHub, IIT Kanpur, recently organized a felicitation ceremony to recognize the outstanding contributions of District Coordinators and Principals/Principal-in-Charge who played a key role in the successful implementation of the Cybersecurity Vocational Course across various districts and colleges.

The impact of this initiative is truly encouraging. During the second semester of the academic session 2025–26, more than 1.09 lakh students have already benefited from the programme, gaining essential technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry-oriented exposure in cybersecurity.

The event was graced by Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, Vice-Chancellor, CSJMU, and Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur, who highlighted the growing importance of cybersecurity and the need for continuous learning in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Prof. Surendra Baswana, Programme Director, C3iHub, also emphasized the importance of practical experience and staying updated with emerging technologies.

The contributions of educators, coordinators, and institutional leaders were recognized through certificates of appreciation and cash awards, celebrating their commitment to expanding cybersecurity education and ensuring meaningful student participation.

🚀 Startup Dialogue Series Inspires Young Innovators at CSJM University 🌱✨

Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, the CSJM Innovation Foundation (CSJMIF) successfully organized a Startup Dialogue Series on 05 August 2026 at L1,UIET , CSJM University, Kanpur.

The session featured Dr. Deepak Kumar Maurya, Ph.D. (IIT Kanpur), Founder, Harit Arohi LLP, who shared his remarkable entrepreneurial journey and delivered an inspiring talk on aerospace engineering, sustainable innovation, startup development, and entrepreneurship.

A major highlight of the session was the demonstration of innovative Mustard Stem Laminate products, showcasing how agricultural waste can be transformed into eco-friendly materials with applications in multiple industries, including sustainable construction solutions. His insights reinforced the power of research, innovation, and perseverance in creating impactful ventures.

The programme began with a warm welcome by Dr. Divyansh Shukla, CEO, CSJMIF, who also highlighted the Foundation's extensive support ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs, including idea validation, startup incubation, mentorship, seed funding support, workshops, and entrepreneurship development initiatives.

Adding further value to the session:
🔹 Mr. Anshu Singh, Chief Innovation Officer, shared valuable insights on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and the importance of protecting innovations from the earliest stages.

Empowering Innovation Through Intellectual Property Awareness!
Under the visionary guidance of the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak,The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Innovation Foundation (CSJMIF), CSJMU Kanpur, successfully organized a Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Patents, Copyrights, and Trademarks on 31st July 2026.
The workshop featured insightful expert sessions by Mr. Jignesh Mungalpara and Mr. Tushar Srivastava from JT Attorney Alliance, who shared practical knowledge on intellectual property protection, patent filing, copyrights, trademarks, commercialization of innovations, and technology transfer. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Divyansh Shukla, CEO, CSJMIF, who highlighted the significance of IPR in fostering research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
A key highlight of the programme was the one-on-one patent consultation session, where students, researchers, and faculty members received personalized guidance on identifying patentable innovations, drafting patent specifications, and navigating the patent filing process.

🌍 Celebrating World Environment Day 2026 at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Innovation Foundation 🌱

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, celebrated on 5 June 2026, the CSJM Innovation Foundation (CSJMIF) proudly organized a plantation drive within the university campus under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak.

As a step towards environmental sustainability and ecological responsibility, a variety of fruit-bearing and flowering saplings were planted to enhance green cover, support biodiversity, and promote a healthier ecosystem within the campus.

The event witnessed the gracious presence of distinguished dignitaries, faculty members, officials, and representatives from incubated startups, reflecting a collective commitment towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
