C3iHub, IIT Kanpur, recently organized a felicitation ceremony to recognize the outstanding contributions of District Coordinators and Principals/Principal-in-Charge who played a key role in the successful implementation of the Cybersecurity Vocational Course across various districts and colleges.
The impact of this initiative is truly encouraging. During the second semester of the academic session 2025–26, more than 1.09 lakh students have already benefited from the programme, gaining essential technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry-oriented exposure in cybersecurity.
The event was graced by Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, Vice-Chancellor, CSJMU, and Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur, who highlighted the growing importance of cybersecurity and the need for continuous learning in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Prof. Surendra Baswana, Programme Director, C3iHub, also emphasized the importance of practical experience and staying updated with emerging technologies.
The contributions of educators, coordinators, and institutional leaders were recognized through certificates of appreciation and cash awards, celebrating their commitment to expanding cybersecurity education and ensuring meaningful student participation.
