A few years ago, I was part of the panel PM Modi set up for solarization of the country — as a Solar expert for Residential and Solar Pumps. 📋 Tamil Nadu just released the official Government Order (G.O.(Ms) No.102, dated 19.09.2026) confirming the state’s Rooftop Solar Subsidy Scheme — in convergence with PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.

☀️ For a 3kW system: ₹22,000 (State) + ₹78,000 (Central) = ₹1,00,000 total subsidy
☀️ ₹50 Crore allocated, targeting 1,00,000 households
☀️ Subsidy paid directly via DBT — transparent, no middlemen
