Team Xomonnoy was proud and happy to host new guests recently in our village. Their itinerary had activities like heritage walk, jhumur performance and exploring local cuisines. Happy to see their cheerful reaction towards our village, culture and scenic locations.
We team xomonnoy invite all the guests who are seeking solitude with nature, enjoy walking into greenery and natural jungle vibes while sipping cup of locally brewed chai from nearby chai bagans. This New Year we are inviting you to explore the unspoiled, less discovered spots of Kaziranga.

Guests can enjoy local food in our xomonnoy community. Most of the items we try to procure fresh, and we take fresh orders to maintain the quality of our delicacies. Niramis food/ veg thali or choose from range of non-veg options from fish to chicken to pork and spend a nice meal time in a village set-up.

A community initiative by Rashtriya Gramin Vikas Nidhi (RGVN) and SBI Youth For India in the village of Kaziranga with the aim to create alternative livelihood opportunity for the marginalized sections.

From Heritage Walk, to dance performances, to ethnic thalis, to souvenirs; all these are activities which they love doing during their free time.

Visit this amazing initiative to experience the essence of these communities and support us to build ourselves.

LIZA BORUAH is not only a home maker but also a dynamic person and Xomonnoy's wonderful heritage walk leader. She always carries a smiling face. Together with her house hold works, she guides the tourists coming to their villages by informing about the different available herbs found along the roads, various trees,their cultivation and also about different tradition of Bihu, Moreover, to entertain the tourists, she even sings Ahom songs and also shows traditional Ahom dance forms. Earlier she was a nurse but for social service,she decided to quit her job. She makes pickles, jelly and some other things by her own.

তেওঁ গৃহিণী হোৱাৰ লগতে বিভিন্ন দিশত আগবঢ়া এগৰাকী মহিলা ।
অনবৰতে মুখত মিছিকিয়া হাঁহি থকা ।
লিজাই ঘৰখনৰ কাম নিয়াৰিকৈ কৰাৰ লগতে গাঁও খনললৈ ফুৰিবলৈ অহাৰ পৰ্যটক সকলৰ লগত খোজকাঢ়ি যাওঁতে কাষতে পোৱা গছ - গছনি,খেতি,বিহু আদিৰ বিষয়ে কিছু আভাষ দাঙি ধৰে। আৰু লগতে নিৰিবিল ঠাইত পৰ্যটকৰ মনোৰঞ্জনৰ বাবে তাই আহোমৰ গীত আৰু নৃত্য প্ৰদশন কৰে লগতে বিভিন্ন থলুৱা ঠাইৰ কিছু আভাস দিয়া।
তেওঁ এগৰাকী নাছ আছিল। কিন্তু বৰ্তমান তেওঁ গাঁৱৰ সমাজ সেৱাৰ বাবে চাকৰি এৰিদিয়ে। তেওঁ নিজ হাতেৰে ধুনীয়া ধুনীয়া মাক্স , আচাৰ আৰু জেলি তৈয়াৰ কৰে।

SWAPNALI RAJBONGSHI is Xomonnoy's heritage walk leader. She is currently a student of philosophy. While growing up she has seen the elderly of her house brewing the rice wine, collecting herbs etc. She came up with the unique idea where she will be giving tour of Kaziranga trails while talking about different herbs which is used in rice wine. Apart from rice wine she also knows a lot about sericulture (Assam silk). So, if you want to enjoy the Kaziranga in truest form while learning two main activities, rice wine and sericulture, join her in the heritage walk.

তেওঁ এগৰাকী স্নাতকোত্তৰৰ ছাত্ৰী আৰু গৃহিনী হোৱাৰ লগতে সামাজিক দিশত আগবঢ়া । তেওঁ লগত আপোনালোকে ফুৰিবলৈ গলে তেওঁ অসমীয়া সমাজত ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা কিছু প্ৰয়োজনীয় সামগ্ৰীৰ লগত চিনাকি কৰাই দিব লগতে অসমীয়া সমাজত প্ৰচলিত সাজপানী(rice wine)ৰ প্ৰস্তুত প্ৰণালী আৰু এৰিপলু(aricocon)ৰ পালন পদ্ধতি জানিব পাৰিব আৰু চাব পাৰিব।।

KONGKONA GOGOI is Xomonnoy's heritage walk leader. Her walk is inclined more towards the nature. One can explore the tea estates near Karbi hills during her walk. In her walk, you will be able to enjoy the culture of Kaziranga through different dance forms. Since her childhood, she has spent her every day in the tea estates and know in and out of it. She is very young girl who has given the name of our initiative, Xomonnoy.

Come and enjoy Kaziranga from the lens of a young girl who is full of energy and life.

তেওঁ এগৰাকী উচ্চতৰ মাধ্যমিক দ্বিতীয় বৰ্ষৰ ছাত্ৰী হোৱাৰ লগতে সামাজিক আৰু সাংস্কৃতিক দিশত আগবঢ়া ছোৱালী। কমবয়সীয়া ছোৱালী জনীৰ লগত ফুৰিবলৈ গলে আপোনালোকে কাৰ্বি পাহাৰ আৰু পাহাৰৰ ওপৰতে থকা তেওঁলোকৰ চাহ বাগানৰ বিষয়ে কিছু আভাষ লাভ কৰিব পাৰিব। তেওঁৰ লগত ফুৰিবলৈ যোৱাত কিছু বেলেগ মজা হৈছে তেওঁ খোজ কাঢ়ি যোৱাৰ লগতে নিৰিবিলি ঠাইত পৰ্যটকৰ মনোৰঞ্জন বাবে বড়ো, মিচিং, ঝুমুৰ, বিহু নৃত্য প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰে। কংকনাই গোটতোৰ নাম সমন্বয় ৰাখে।।

MEENA SAIKIA (LEENA) is Xomonnoy's heritage walk leader, social worker and a proud homemaker. Her walk is mostly inclined towards the cultural aspects. During her walk, she talks about the village customs, lifestyle of the village people and the cultural traditions of the local tribes to the tourists. Tourists always likes and appreciates her friendly nature and her enthusiasm to showcase the culture of Kaziranga to them.

পেচাত গৃহিণী লগতে চাহ বাগানৰ কৰ্মী। তেওঁ এগৰাকী সাধাৰণ মহিলা যদিও তেওঁৰ অসাধাৰণ ব্যক্তিত্বৰ দ্বাৰাই সহজেই মানুহৰ মন জয় কৰিব পাৰে। এখেতে নিজৰ কৰ্মৰ লগতে গাঁৱলৈ অহা পৰ্যটকসকলক গাঁৱখনত পোৱা এৰি, মুগা উৎপাদনৰ লগতে ,সততে দেখা পোৱা বিভিন্ন উদ্ভিদ, ফুল আৰু চাহ উৎপাদনৰ বিষয়েও বিতং তথ্য পৰ্যটকৰ আগত ডাঙি ধৰে।

Phulkumari is a housewife and she works and takes care of tea garden. She is an ordinary woman but her extraordinary personality can easily win the hearts of people. In her nature/heritage walk, she talks about tea leaves, local herbs and plants. One can visit the Muga (MUGA is the famous Assam silk) farm with her which is the USP of this walk.
