The scholars are actively involved in research in the areas of Experimental Aerodynamics; Flight Dynamics and Control; Nonlinear Systems and Stability; Composite Materials; Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity. A Centre of Excellence for Composite Structures Technology, funded by ARDB, has been established in 1999. Currently, the research efforts of the faculty and scholars supported by a large number of projects sponsored by ARDB, ADA, ISRO, DST, AICTE, MHRD and many other organisations.
