About The Artwork :
Love conquers all is an original concept I have employed in this artwork. Black & white pieces of chess are always fighting against each other to win. I imagined what will happen if they fall in love with each other instead of fighting against each other, because opposites attract each other !?... Then both sides will win! No one will lose. Everyone has shades of black & white in their character. So, I have painted black horse with warm colour scheme while white horse with cool colour scheme. In the game of chess, horse moves two & half squares (third square in 90°). In Hindi language, there's a saying "ढाई अक्षर प्रेम के!". (In Hindi language, love is spelt in two & half alphabets). It connects with the concept of my artwork.

Inktober 2025 Day - 31 Award (something given as a recognition of the achievement)
Pronounce - a-wa-rd/अवॉर्ड
About the artwork : Completing the 31-day challenge of Inktober, without any actual tangible prize is a test of patient leading to the improvement as a designer, skill development as an artist & even for pleasure as a human, is the actual award for which I try to complete all 31 topics of Inktober since year 2015 & I have always felt it's worth it. Even my eldest sister who loves drawing felt to draw Inktober challenges & tried to push herself through her extremely tight schedule of daily chores. That was one more thing I felt glad about as she tried to try her hands at pen & ink, a medium she doesn't handle much. Even my another elder sister felt to try it. Our father who loves art had been keen to see our artworks. That is most important honorable award for me. I didn't use a ruler by intention to write the text, as I want to depict the growing graph. Pen & Ink is one of my favourite medium & I wish to explore it more & more. I don't compete or compare with other artists. I focus on improving my skills. I have directly drawn the illustration using calligraphic pen (2.0) & technical pen (1.0), without pencil under-drawing.

Inktober 2025 Day - 30 Vacant (a place not occupied or empty/having a potential to occupy or replace previous occupant)
Pronounce : vhé-k-n-t/व्हेकंट
About the artwork : This illustration means a lot to me, personally. Someone on the certain post in any business or service, can have a job, occupy a vacant position which could have been there long-time dream. But, not everyone can be that much capable to be eligible & to work better than the previous person on that post. It's not everyone's cup of tea, though they can dream. Whenever I see my father's chair at his office in the factory, I understand & I know the struggle behind the position he's at now. So many people aren't even capable of dreaming to reach this position in life, but they never fairly judge their own capabilities. Not all people on their posts can be replaced. Sometimes, it's better to leave that place vacant than hiring someone or letting someone take it up who's not at all eligible for it. Such chairs are not vacant, potential chairs to occupy just for the sake of money or advantages of being the occupant, but they are peaks only for only those who are eligible & ready to climb the steepest mountains of efforts & struggles which lead one to even gasp for breath. Vacant chair can solicit potential occupants but not everyone deserves it. *stop dreaming, we (neither my father nor I) are not hiring for our businesses like his factory or my design business, by the way. 😅
It's just an illustration. Drawn using technical pens & ink brushpen to ink the pencil under-drawing.

Inktober 2025 Day - 29 Lesson (something being taught/something understood by experience/धडा)
About the artwork : As you all know, I've never been able to walk after my genetic bone-disorder activated gradually since I was 6-months old baby. My father stilI remembers fondly how he used to try helping me to take few steps while he held my hands in his hands & how I used to take 2-3 steps, as I had actually started standing up earlier than babies do generally, as my late mother too had noticed that. But, gradually that stopped due to the frequent fractures of fragile bones & made me wheelchair ridden, unable to sit fully or stand, leave alone the thought of walking in spite of every stone being turned. Somehow out of fear to let their little baby daughter undergo rigorous rounds of surgeries to reduce the fractures by inserting steel rods in the bones, especially the limbs of the legs & to assist me to atleast learn sitting on my own, though with a possibility of damaging the weak spine, my family declined this suggestion of rodding surgeries by an expert orthopedic & my family doctor during the first two years of growing up. They had consulted an astrologist who misguided them, as of course astrology is simply a tool to misguide & cheat people, it's not at all any kind of science as it's claimed. That's a truth, though very bitter for few. Wheelchair became part of me. As I grew up, I understood the gravity of the situation & also had fumed why they rejected the most useful suggestion by doctor, destroying all my life as all positive possibilities were ruined. Gradually, I learnt to understand their point of view & swallowed all the bitterness though it's too hard to digest still. I dreamt of learning using bicycle & to drive two-wheelers & cars from my father. Instead, my father had to teach me using wheelchairs (manual & electronic) indoors & outdoors. He has given me lessons of even car-driving though I can't drive, by showing me how car works when it's driven. This drawing depicts my dream of learning to use bicycle from my father. My father still has my back even now while I tackle tough steep slopes.

Inktober 2025 Day - 28 Skeletal (related to skeleton or functioning as a part of skeleton/remaining outline or remaining framework of something/सांगाड्याचा अवशेष)
Pronounce : ské-lé-t-l/स्केलेटल
About the artwork : Rather than drawing a full skeleton or a skull or something ugly, I opted for drawing the illustration of fish skeletons, those which are found in fossils & on the abandoned shores of sea. I have done pencil under-drawing before inking with technical pen (2.0) & Ink Brushpen.
