Religious Minority Status Certificate from government ....

Following is one of the questions to be answered while applying for minority status certificate for the educational institutions...
Question..
Whether the applicant institution has been established and administered by religious minority....Proof of religion to be attached.

Here, what will be the answer of Salvation Army to substantiate SA is a religious entity....
As per the MoA and AoA, there is absolutely no evidence to substantiate SA is a religious entity, whereas it is specified as a private limited company involved in business.
This is how the leaders have been betraying the poor Salvationists in India for the last 139 years....and we have been outcasted from other Christian denominations.
Now what is the remedy and why continuing this betrayal and for what purpose...????

The Minority Commission headed by Retd Chief Justice (Hon)JB Koshy, members, shri Jacob Punnuse(Rted DGP) Shri Christy Fernandez (Retd Gov.Secretary) ,constituted for studying on the backwardness of Christian Minorities in Kerala, had conducted its one hearing at Thiruvananthapuram on 14.12.2021.

Many Christian denominations and organisations were participated.Salvation Army was represented by the programme secretary of ISWT and a senior soldier from Thiruvananthapuram central corps. Against their plea for getting minority rights for SA, Justice JB Koshy replied that you are registered as a private limited company and on what basis this privilege can be granted to SA.(This means that Govt.has not accepted SA as a Christian denomination).Chief Justice also informed them to reregister SA as a Trust for claiming this privilege.
It has become a total shame for the entire SA Community in India.

SACWA once again appeal to the leaders to reregister SA as a Trust as recommended by the Commission to protect the constitutional rights of salvationists .

In case the leaders are not accepting the recommendations of the Commission, please intimate your opinion to SACWA, how to proceed further.....

What is Salvation Army in India??

It can be seen in different ways based on the glass through which you look.

Spiritually, it is one of the mainstream Churches in India.
The prayer hall is renamed as CHURCH.
Officer is now known as Pastors.
Sunday meeting is changed to Worship.

As a legal entity, it is a private limited company involved in business. Preaching gospel is only a supplementary activity.

Officials are behaving like Corps Commanding Officers and the like up to Territorial Commander. The Soldiers nominees have no role in the policy or Administration. Promotion and Transfer etc are as usual. New TGC is a total failure.

No Church status and therefore no Minority right as applicable to other Christian denominations. Consequently members are getting seperated day by day.

What remedy is a thousand millions question???.

1.Jesus goes out and the world comes in
2.The CHURCH,a living body is rendered as a lifeless body.
3.Preaching sounds more like motivational pep talks.
4.Praise and worship boils down to performance.
5.Clergy functions like CEO's
6.A leaders empire is built instead of the kingdom of God.
Pride ,Power and Money will prevails and so on...
BUT CHECK WHERE WE STAND...!!!

The world is changing......Shouldn't we????

Yes..certainly, we need Change....
..Change the Sunday meeting terminology to Sunday Worship Service .
.Ensure Consubstantiation atmosphere in our worship.
.Avoid dominions attitude of leaders. Remember they are servants of God,engaged in HIS SERVICE. That is why we pay respect to them.
.Totally eliminate eulogy of leaders while worshipping.
.Avoid platform service and ensure only pulpit service.
.Avoid impiety congregations and so on..

This is SA CHURCH recently built-in by the poor salvationists with their hard-earned money to worship Lord.
There is a misconception about CHURCH and Hall(corps) in Salvation Army.

CHURCH IS A HOLY PLACE FOR WORSHIPING OUR LORD.There we interact with the Lord mentally and spiritually. There is no space for any other visual activity except Prayer and worship.Whereas the Hall(corps) is a place for fellowship which includes eating,drinking,dancing, playing, shouting and even fighting etc.....Here the interaction is amongst the gathering. This is also required for the growth of the community. Now a trend is inculcated among the salvationists to construct seperate hall attached or outside the Church for the above purpose to avoid frolicking action in OUR Mercy seat.

Remember a CHURCH cannot take the position of the Hall(corps) and the Hall will never replace CHURCH.

The frolicking activities that we do in our Mercy seat is a Sin for which we are all answerable.....
