The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry had the honour of hosting Mr. Eddy Wardoyo, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Mumbai, for an exclusive interaction with the Chamber members, following the successful 40th Trade Expo Indonesia 2025.

The Consul General commended the Chamber’s active participation at the Expo, where Ms. , President of the Cochin Chamber, led a delegation of members representing diverse industries. Niryat Bandhu Export Awareness Program

The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and the FEDERATION OF INDIAN EXPORT ORGANISATIONS (FIEO), successfully hosted an informative session under the Ministry of Commerce’s Niryat Bandhu Scheme on July 30, 2025.

We were honoured to have Shri. Gurkaran Singh Bains, IRS, Commissioner of Customs, Cochin, inaugurate the session and deliver the keynote address, highlighting the importance of aligning Indian capabilities with global trade demands.

Esteemed speakers from Customs, DGFT, FSSAI Publication, ECGC Limited, and FIEO shared critical insights on documentation, compliance, and risk mitigation for exporters and IEC holders.

The Cochin Chamber was represented by Ms. Vinodini Sukumar, Vice President, who delivered the Welcome Address, and Mr. Prakash Iyer, Executive Committee Member, who proposed the Vote of Thanks.
