We Love iPhone 4S for Siri but We Hate it for Poor Battery

Studies revealed what the technology blogs already suspected: the reason for iPhone 4S’ great performance on the market can be mainly attributed to the digital assistant Siri. ChangeWave Research conducted a small survey among 215 iPhone 4S users and found out that the overwhelming majority (96%) of them declared themselves to be very satisfied (77%) or somewhat satisfied (19%) with their new iPhone.
The top feature iPhone 4S users enjoy is obviously the know-it-all digital assistant and the innovative technology behind it, as almost half (49%) of the respondents pointed out.

Another 39% of the iPhone 4S owners appreciate the ease of use, while a third of the people asked believe the 8MP camera with its significant improvements from the previous model is the best feature of Apple’s new star handset. Other features that raised votes and make iPhone 4S one of the most wanted smartphone of the moment are: faster web browsing, screen resolution, iCloud service, third party applications, ability to sync with multiple devices and multitasking.
In the dislikes list the top reason for complains is the never ending battery issue that Apple already failed to address a few times with updates to iOS 5. The survey revealed that 38% of iPhone 4S owners are annoyed with this problem. Lack of 4G capability disappointed 30% of the users. The display size was mentioned by 11% of the users as the thing they dislike most about their new iPhone. According to rumors, Apple is reconsidering the strategy of delivering the iPhones about the same sizes and the next generation handset will leave behind this conservative design and will feature a 4 inch screen.

SIRI IN IPHONE 4




No, it’s not one of the hacks you might have heard about since Siri debuted in October, but a new one called H1Siri (for “Hi Siri!”) that claims to unlock full Siri functionality, as opposed to the half-measures in other hacks, on any GSM or CDMA iPhone running iOS 5 or later. According to the Chinese team that pulled off the hack (via TechCrunch), it was never meant for public consumption, but it “leaked,” and there you have it–free Siri for everyone!
Except word is it’s not so friendly, and that it could cause all sorts of trouble for your iPhone, from random reboots to full-on bricking.
My advice? Skip it. It’s probably illegal, and if you’re really after a natural language app on your older-model iPhone, there’s always powerful freebie apps like Dragon Go! and Vlingo to scratch the itch until you’re ready for a newer phone with Siri inbuilt, or a rival with Siri-like technology.

“If you are getting these errors, just keep trying. It will eventually get through it. There are two places that can hang up due to excessive server load. Prior to starting the update, and after the update is done updating and the phone reboots. If you get to the point where your phone throws an error and the screen is blank, just unplug it and re-plug it back in and it should report that it’s in DFU mode…For those on the beta wanting to update to the production release, just download the IPSW, and hold down the option key when hitting the Restore button. It should then allow you to choose the downloaded IPSW file to install. Of course you’ll have the same hard time getting into all of the Apple servers like everyone else. Keep trying and eventually it will finish”.
