Indian Mountaineering Foundation East Zone, jointly with Kamarhati Trekkers' Association, cordially invites all adventure enthusiasts to the Kolkata Screening of the 7th edition of the "IMF Mountain Film Festival" India tour.

Join us for an evening of adventure, inspiration, and exploration, featuring breathtaking films from the world of mountaineering, trekking and outdoor sports. This exclusive event will showcase award-winning popular adventure films.

The Indian Mountaineering Foundation, South Zone, in association with the Army Adventure Wing, successfully hosted the "Nilgiri Cup" at the Madras Regimental Centre, Wellington, on 23rd May 2026.

Report: Flag-Off Ceremony – All Women Kuari Pass Trek 2026

The spirit of the mountains came alive on 10th May 2026 as we flagged off the inspiring All Women Kuari Pass Trek at Basanta Bihar, Adarsha Pally, Belghoria, Kolkata.
Organised by: Kamarhati Trekkers' Association
Supported by: Indian Mountaineering Foundation, East Zone.

With the Himalayan winds already calling, eight courageous women stood ready to trace the legendary Lord Curzon Trail and summit Kuari Pass at 3,815m. The air was filled with pride, excitement, and the rustle of fluttering flags as the journey began — not on the trail, but right here at home.

The ceremony was graced by Sri Gobinda Ganguly, President, KTA, and Sri Debdas Nandy, Advisor, WBMASF, along with other distinguished guests who blessed the team with warm wishes and words of strength.

Report: Jhargram Aronnyo Sundori Run 2026 -1st Promo Run in Kolkata on Sunday, 10th May 2026.

IMF East Zone, in association with Kharagpur Sports Foundation, successfully conducted Session One of the "Jhargram Aronnyo Sundori Run 2026" - 1st Promo Run in Kolkata on Sunday, 10th May 2026.

The run started in front of Mani Square Mall, 164/1 Maniktala Main Road, E.M. Bypass, Kolkata, West Bengal 700054.

The race was flagged off by The Honourable Shri Vikramaditya Malla Dev, the Prince of the erstwhile Jhargram Raj, along with other distinguished guests.

Around 200 participants across different age groups took part in this 4 km promotional run with the theme "Run with Nature."

The main "Jhargram Aronnyo Sundori Run 2026" will be held on 7th June on the scenic 8 km nature trail at Jhargram, West Bengal.

We thank Techno Sport, Saltlake Runners, Mani Square Mall, and all the dedicated East Zone volunteers for their support.

You are all welcome to join us on 7th June at Jhargram. Run with Nature, conserve nature, in the spirit of adventure.
