A warm and spiritually uplifting Iftar gathering was held at Nawab Ali Park, bringing together distinguished leaders, respected members of the community, and prominent figures from the business fraternity to celebrate the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan.

The occasion was graciously hosted by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Ms. Mamata Banerjee, who attended the gathering as the Chief Guest, extending her warm wishes for peace, harmony, and prosperity.

The Guest of Honour for the evening was Mr. Firhad Hakim, Hon’ble Minister for Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Government of West Bengal, and Mayor of Kolkata, whose presence added great significance to the event.

Among the prominent dignitaries present was Mr. Gulam Ashraf, Chairman of Phonex Group, a respected entrepreneur and business leader from Kolkata. Mr. Ashraf attended the gathering as an Honourable Guest, representing the business community and engaging with distinguished leaders and attendees on the occasion. His presence highlighted the important role played by industry leaders in strengthening community bonds and supporting inclusive social initiatives during the holy month.

What an incredible conclusion to the 55th National Safety Week 2026 at Kolkata Dock System! Today’s closing ceremony brought together officers, employees, union members, and stakeholders to celebrate a culture of "Safety First."
