On 24 April 2026, Techno India Group, in collaboration with Hatchlab Innovations,
hosted a high-level leadership engagement at Sister Nivedita University with a
distinguished delegation from the UK Deputy High Commission and the UK Department
for Business and Trade.
This strategic interaction marked an important step in strengthening the India–UK
corridor across education, research, innovation, and talent development.
We were honoured to welcome Dr. Andrew Fleming (British Deputy High Commissioner
– North & East India), Mr. Mark Birell (Trade Counsellor – South Asia, DBT UK), and Mr.
Habib Raihan (Senior Trade Advisor). The delegation was hosted by Mr. Debdut
Roychowdhury and Ms. Sohinee Debnath, Directors, and Mr. Avik Kesh, CEO, Hatchlab
Innovations, along with senior leadership teams.
At the core of the engagement was a shared vision to position Techno India Group and
Hatchlab Innovations as India’s first integrated UK-aligned Education, Talent &
Innovation Platform—transitioning towards a globally connected, ecosystem-driven
model.
Key focus areas included:
• Expansion of Transnational Education (TNE) models (1+3, 2+2, dual degrees)
• Strengthening UK collaborations in AI, biosciences, and data science
• Building ecosystems in AI, sports analytics, and innovation
• Launch of a global EdTech marketplace (2026)
• Development of Hatisur Global Campus
• Enabling UK institutions to enter India through a structured platform approach
Discussions also aligned with opportunities under the India–UK FTA, highlighting
priorities such as AI-led transformation, sustainability, global expansion, and UK
premium school models in India.
The UK delegation expressed strong support in advancing these initiatives through
partnerships, TNE frameworks, and faster implementation—aligned with the UK’s
“Envision 2035” vision.
Our growing ecosystem reflects this momentum through global academic pathways,
Cambridge curriculum-led K-12 expansion, Manchester City Football School – Kolkata,
and research-driven innovation platforms.
This engagement reinforces a shared commitment to building scalable, future-ready
education ecosystems with global impact. We look forward to translating this dialogue
into long-term collaborations.
