Directly or indirectly, we all are linked to Silicon Valley. How?

Even if we set aside the fact that Google determines most of our income today (Search Engine Optimization, Digital Marketing, content development, Web development), our creative ideas are ruled by the same. Now if an artist or a designer creates something out of the ordinary, the idea of putting it in Instagram or Facebook or Google+ instantly comes to his or her mind. On one hand, it is boon that all of us now possess a proper application of our creative ideas but on the other, it is all about implementation we are worried about and not of the creative lust that comes naturally.

Don’t you think we need to look into the matter or even better try to balance between the two?

Don’t you think our creative power is being used in business that claims dollars?

Is money really all that we ever wished for?

These simple questions are hovering unanswered over each of our minds, only we are too scared to admit.

Creativity is an art and though it can be used for business purposes, it should not be the sole objective. To quote Steve Jobs, “Creativity is just connecting things.” So, connect your experiences and create. Application comes much later.

How many of you have seen the Google doodle today? Yes, it is openly celebrating the 70th anniversary of Spain's famous and crowd gearing festival LA TOMATINA, which is held in the small town of Bunol on every last Wednesday of August. Yes, you are right. It is that tomato throwing festival which was highlighted so brilliantly by Farthan Akhtar in his film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara”. But, do you know anything about the origin of this red squishy festival?

There are in fact a number of myths as to how to festival originated. While some say it was a kind of mischief by the local kids, some even go to the extent of saying that it was a kind of protest against the dictatorship of the then mayor of Bunol.

No matter how it orginated, the action was repeated again in the next years and years that followed because the people found it to be a great idea to get all squashy and messy. Seems like the colorful festival of Holi in India, right? Yes, but here the only color available is TOMATO RED. Thousands of tourists travel to take part in this festival which Spain very delightfully boasts of. And it is also relatively harmless than the other festivals of Spain, e.g., Running with the bulls.

Almost all of us have suffered call drop issues while having an important conversation. The line gets disconnected even before we have finished due to several conditions like bad weather, signal unavailability, etc. But now, the increased frequency of call drops are simply getting on our nerves. Adhering to his digital India campaign, PM Narendra Modi is all set to take proper steps against call drops and he instructs the telecom officials to get rid of it ASAP. Really! It would be such a relief if this issue is fixed, isn't it?
