The IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) is a not for profit (Section 8) company established under the aegis of IIM Calcutta to promote Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The mission of IIMCIP is aligned to the mission of the institute to “develop innovative and ethical future leaders capable of managing change and transformation in a globally competitive environment and to advance the theory and

practice of management”. The broad objectives of IIMCIP are:

1. To promote entrepreneurship and create a nurturing ecology where fledgling enterprises with innovative ideas and solutions can flourish

2. To promote Innovation in research and business through industry-academia partnership

The IIMCIP aims at creating a complete and comprehensive eco-system to promote and nurture innovative enterprises. There are two broad verticals under IIMCIP – Business Incubation Unit and Innovation Lab.

The Spark Social Seminar series for the 14th Edition of the Tata Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) continued with stops in Bhubaneswar and Jaipur, bringing together 120+ participants across both cities to celebrate social entrepreneurship.

In Bhubaneswar, partnered with Startup Odisha at O-Hub, where participants were introduced to and its opportunities for emerging . Mr. Ananta Prasanna Behera (Entrepreneurship and Ecosystem Professional, Palladium Group) led an interactive session on building sustainable and scalable social enterprises, while founders Mr. Subhrojeet Singha Roy (Alphaion) and Mr. Manish Kumar Swain (BabyCue) shared how TSEC accelerated their growth.

In Jaipur, IIMCIP partnered with iStart Rajasthan at Bhamashah Techno Hub, where participants were walked through TSEC. Mr. Gaurav Raghav (Oceanlux.in) shared his entrepreneurial journey and TSEC's role in scaling his venture.

For 14 years, IIMCIP's journey with the Tata Social Enterprise Challenge has taken us to bold social entrepreneurs in every corner of the country and beyond. It has been exhilarating and deeply fulfilling, because it embodies exactly what we stand for: empowering entrepreneurs to empower communities.
