Honoured to announce that Shri J.P. Chowdhary, Executive Chairman of Titagarh Rail Systems, has been recognised as a Star of the East 2026 at the Neo Wealth Hurun Stars of the East Awards 2026.

This recognition celebrates visionary leadership and Titagarh Rail Systems' continued contribution to strengthening India's Rail Ecosystem while advancing Eastern India's emergence as a key driver of industrial and economic growth.

As part of the event, Shri J.P. Chowdhary also joined the panel discussion, "The East's Decade: Reclaiming India's First Capital of Commerce," where he shared his perspective on the region's manufacturing potential, industrial transformation, and its expanding role in shaping India's growth story.

It was our privilege to meet the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru C. Joseph Vijay, during a courtesy visit.

Our Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Umesh Chowdhary, and Dy. Managing Director, Shri Prithish Chowdhary, had the honour of meeting the Hon'ble Chief Minister to congratulate him on the initiatives being undertaken by his Government and to formally introduce Titagarh Rail Systems and its growing contribution to India's rail ecosystem.

As part of our commitment to strengthening indigenous rail manufacturing, in joint venture with Ramakrishna forging limited, Titagarh is establishing its upcoming wheelset manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. We also discussed enhancing Titagarh’s foot print in Tamil Nadu in shipbuilding and other strategic sectors towards our Hon'ble Prime Ministers vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.

At the Japan–India Joint Economic Forum, our Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Umesh Chowdhary, participated as part of the distinguished Indian delegation during the State Visit of H.E. From modest beginnings in 1997 as a small railway component manufacturer to serving the nation’s railways, Titagarh has grown with gratitude and purpose. At Titagarh, we have been fortunate to contribute to some of India’s most meaningful rail milestones, from one of the leading wagon manufacturers in the country to delivering India’s first aluminium-bodied metro train and metros for various cities, also contributing to landmark projects of India like the Sleeper Vande Bharat, each step has reinforced our belief that we are here to serve a larger national purpose.

For nearly 3 decades, we have been fortunate to be a part of India’s growth story, guided by the trust placed in us and inspired by the national vision of Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. We are proud to share that Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has entered into a strategic collaboration with TuTr Hyperloop, an IIT Madras–incubated deep-tech startup, to advance indigenous Hyperloop-enabled freight mobility solutions for India.

This collaboration brings together Titagarh’s proven expertise in rolling stock design, engineering, and manufacturing with TuTr Hyperloop’s pioneering capabilities in Hyperloop propulsion and advanced mobility technologies. Together, we aim to evaluate, design, develop, and commercialise high-speed, energy-efficient freight transportation systems aligned with future logistics and infrastructure needs.

Envisioned as a significant step towards building indigenous, automated, and next-generation freight mobility solutions, the initiative strongly reinforces the spirit of Make in India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and the journey towards a Viksit Bharat. By advancing Hyperloop technologies through indigenous design and engineering, we aspire to position India at the forefront of next-generation freight transportation, creating global benchmarks for speed, sustainability, and engineering excellence.

From almost 3 decades, our journey has been guided by a simple purpose, to contribute, in every possible way, to the India Growth Story. From enabling industries through freight wagons, to transforming everyday travel with modern urban metro systems and strengthening India’s maritime capabilities, each step has been about moving the nation forward.

As we reflect on 29 years of service to the country, we do so with gratitude and humility. This journey has been possible because of the trust placed in us and the shared national vision inspired by initiatives such as Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India is advancing with confidence and we are proud to play our small part in building a Viksit Bharat.
