Progress is often measured by the work completed on a project.

But its deeper value lies in how that work connects with the people who live around it.

While working on a client project in Bastar district, Chhattisgarh, the Geovale team took time to engage with local schoolchildren. Banerjee and Gupta alongside their colleagues, shared sweets and spoke about the importance of geological information and the role it can play in supporting the region’s future development.

For young students, understanding geology is not simply about learning what lies beneath the ground. It is about seeing how knowledge can help communities make informed choices, build livelihoods, and participate more meaningfully in local growth.

Technical work becomes more relevant when it is communicated in a way that people can understand and connect with.

At Geovale, we believe that responsible work begins with respect for the communities around every project. Engagement, awareness, and shared understanding help ensure that knowledge creates value beyond the immediate scope of an assignment.

Honoured to welcome Mr Bernard Lynch, Australian Consul-General in Kolkata, Ms Anagha, and Mr Partha Sen to the Geovale Services office.

We had wide-ranging discussions on critical minerals, exploration, technology collaboration, and opportunities for deeper cooperation between Geovale and the Australian METS sector.

Australia brings world-class capabilities in mining equipment, technology and services, while India offers rapidly expanding opportunities across exploration, critical minerals and mine development. We look forward to exploring how Geovale can contribute as a strong local knowledge, technical and implementation partner for Australian METS companies in India and beyond.
