Progress is often measured by the work completed on a project.
But its deeper value lies in how that work connects with the people who live around it.
While working on a client project in Bastar district, Chhattisgarh, the Geovale team took time to engage with local schoolchildren. Banerjee and Gupta alongside their colleagues, shared sweets and spoke about the importance of geological information and the role it can play in supporting the region’s future development.
For young students, understanding geology is not simply about learning what lies beneath the ground. It is about seeing how knowledge can help communities make informed choices, build livelihoods, and participate more meaningfully in local growth.
Technical work becomes more relevant when it is communicated in a way that people can understand and connect with.
