"Mahisasura Mardini" is a remarkable piece of audio drama uncomparable in Bengali culture. With its mythical theme and Vedic mantras Vedic, this program is a landmark composition and has now become an inseparable part of Bengali culture. It is scripted by Bani Kumar, and narrated by Birendra Krishna Bhadra, the magical voice behind this composition. The enchanting music is composed by none other than legendary Pankaj Mullick, and the songs are rendered by famous singers of yesteryears. The programme, which started off as a live-performance in All India Radio, has been broadcast in its pre-recorded format since the late nineteen-sixties. Its great popularity remains undiminished even till today.

It was an initiative taken to participate in the 101 hour film project by the Yes Foundation.

The 03 minute documentary film tells the tale of Anita, an young school of the suburbs. Her mother tells us that she had wanted her beloved daughter to die, after she heard that Anita lost both her hands in a rail accident. But today, Anita is a self sufficient individual and teaches everyone, "Where there is a will, there is a way."

She isn't a disabled person. Her abilities are truely special.
