Many people believe that Foam Service is essential for every air conditioner. Others consider it nothing more than a marketing technique.

The reality lies somewhere in between
Foam Cleaning can be an effective deep-cleaning method when used in the right situation—but it is not necessarily required for every AC or during every service.

What Are the Benefits of Foam Service?

With prolonged use, an AC can accumulate not only dust on the filter, but also dirt, grease, smoke residue and sticky contaminants on the cooling coil, blower and internal air passages.

In such cases, conventional water-jet cleaning may not always be sufficient. A properly performed Foam Cleaning process can help loosen and remove stubborn deposits.

Key benefits may include:

Professional AC Compressor Replacement

A compressor failure is not always as simple as it appears. Before replacing a compressor, proper electrical and mechanical diagnosis is essential to determine the actual cause of the failure.

In this case, our technicians conducted a detailed inspection of the compressor terminals, wiring, capacitor and other critical components. During the inspection, a crack was found at the compressor terminal base, resulting in refrigerant leakage and complete system failure.

Considering the condition and extent of the damage, compressor replacement was the appropriate repair solution.

Replacement Process Included:

• Safe removal of the failed compressor
• Technical verification of the replacement compressor
• Correct positioning and mounting
• Proper S / C / R terminal identification
• Controlled-heat professional brazing
• Replacement of the damaged terminal connector
• Capacitor and electrical performance testing
• Complete outdoor unit reassembly
• Proper vacuuming/evacuation of the refrigeration circuit
• Refrigerant charging as per manufacturer specifications
• Final cooling, ampere, noise and vibration checks

🔧 Technical Insight

Before installation, the replacement compressor specifications were carefully checked against the original compressor to ensure proper compatibility.

You may be thinking:

“I had my AC serviced before summer.
It worked throughout the season without any major problem.
There’s only a little dirt now—so why worry?
I’ll simply get it serviced again before next summer.”

But technically, this is not always the right approach.

During the summer, your AC may run continuously for several hours every day. After 2–3 months of regular usage, dust, dirt and airborne pollutants can gradually accumulate—not only on the filter, but also on the Cooling Coil, Blower, Airflow Passage, Outdoor Coil and other important components.

Initially, the AC may continue to provide normal cooling. However, excessive dirt can gradually restrict airflow and reduce heat-transfer efficiency, causing the system to work harder to maintain the required cooling performance.

Now, if the AC is left in this dirty condition and remains switched off for a long period, especially in a humid environment, accumulated dirt and moisture can contribute to corrosion on certain metal surfaces.

Over time, prolonged contamination and corrosion may affect the condition of coils and other components, potentially reducing cooling performance and contributing to a shorter overall service life.

So instead of thinking:

“I’ll service it again just before next summer,”
