Since joining BALCO in 2021, Geeta Bareth has grown as a nurse while caring for patients with empathy and responsibility. For her, the strength of BALCO lies in a workplace where colleagues support one another and growth goes hand in hand with purpose. Her greatest reward? Seeing a patient return home healthy and smiling.

At BALCO, this shift is reflected on the manufacturing floor. A student and a young farmer from Bundeli village in Korba, Anuradha Sahu, recognised an opportunity to diversify her family's traditional farming practices through Rabi potato cultivation. With technical guidance and input support under BALCO's Mor Jal Mor Maati, she transformed that idea into a successful harvest.
Her journey yielded 4.5 quintals of potatoes, generating a profit of around ₹9,000, strengthening her family's livelihood. She is now preparing potato seed for the next planting season.
Today, her journey is encouraging more people in her community to see agriculture as a space for innovation and opportunity.
