Apply New passport

The Central Government has revised the passport fee structure by amending the Passports Rules, 1980, increasing the application fee for a fresh ordinary 36-page passport from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500. The revised charges will come into effect from July 1, 2026. Fees for Tatkal passports and 60-page passports have also been increased under the new notification issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.
