C.C. Pathway Work – Technical Specifications

* Site Preparation: Clear the site and remove all vegetation, debris, and loose soil.
* Earth Excavation: Excavate to the required depth (generally 150–250 mm) and dress the bed.
* Subgrade: Compact the natural soil to achieve a firm and level base.
* Sand Layer: Provide 50 mm thick coarse sand and compact it properly.
* Sub-base (if required): 75–100 mm thick Granular Sub Base (GSB), well compacted.
* Concrete: Provide 100–150 mm thick PCC of Grade M20 (1:1.5:3)

8 To successfully paint a boundary and install concertina wire, you must use durable, rust-resistant materials. The concertina coils should have a minimum 600 mm diameter, 50 turns per coil, and be installed on Y-shaped 30 mm GI angles. The boundary wall must be painted with high-quality, exterior-grade anti-fungal acrylic weather-coat to withstand weather exposure.

* Reinforcement cutting, bending, and fixing.
* RCC footing, grade beam, and RCC columns.

* Primer and exterior weatherproof paint (if included).

Quality Standards:

* Work to be executed as per CPWD/IS specifications.
* Concrete to be machine mixed and properly vibrated.
* Steel cover maintained using cover blocks.
* Verticality and alignment checked throughout.
* Minimum 7–14 days curing as required.

Safety:

* PPE for all workers (helmet, gloves, safety shoes).
* Barricading around excavation.
* Safe scaffolding where required.
